My ancestor, Margaret GORDON, b. abt 1795 in Scotland, was married to John HENDERSON, b. abt 1796 in Scotland, on 4 Sep 1822 at Gartly,Aberdeen,Scotland. They had four children born in Scotland before they emigrated to America: Violet, christened 3 Jan 1824 Clatt, Aberdeen, Scotland; Mary, christened 6 Jan 1825 Clatt, Aberdeen, Scotland; Louisa, b. abt 1829 Scotland; David, b. 1832 Aberdeen.
