James Gilligan [born c.1801] and Ellen McTaggart [born c.1819 Arney,
parish of Cleenish, Fermanagh] were married 1840 in Arney and had issue:
1. James Gilligan [c.1842]
2. Margaret Gilligan [c.1845] married Pat McManus of Derrylin, 1867 in St Mary's Arney
3. Ellen Gilligan [c.1848] married Philip Cox of Arney in 1870
4. Thomas Gilligan [c.1849] married Rose?
5. Patrick Gilligan [c.1859]

Townlands mentioned are Derryaghna, Derrycormick, Corraglass, Letterbreen, Mullanawinna, and Kinglass.
