Do you have daniel in all census???
In 1871 (if I have the correct daniel) he gives his po.b. as Frome somerset? ?
I don't quite understand what you mean "trying to find anyone from westbury c 1800 is like looking for a needle in a haystack"
Have you searched parish records???
Where does he give p.o.b. in 1851/61 and was h in gloucester in 1841???

Hi (again)
I have found Daniel 1841 in Glos wife hannah
1851 I have found him -transcribed as David -image reads Daniel p.o.b. Westbury
1861 - is he entered as george b Berkley Somerset?
It seems to be him - wife hannah, daughter Louisa , grandson Fredk grimes (didn't daughter elizabeth marry a mr grimes?)
Or do you know otherwise???

Hi Suz
Many thanks for replying, but it seems that i did not make myself very clear, I have traced Daniel all the way back to his birth in 1789 and from there I can't find out anything else, my comment about the needle in a haystake, is I can't get to wiltshire very easily, so I went to a family tree fair, and was told by someone on the wiltshire stand, that so many were from the westbury area around 1800, that I might not have a lot of joy, so all I want really is some advice on where I could go to find out this info.
