Hi,
I'm looking for a very elusive ancestor, George Dennis Snatt who married Lilian Katie Butler 30/3/1892 at Herstmonceaux, she was born 2nd qtr 1870 at Eastbourne. After their marriage I cannot find either of them on the 1901 census, I cannot find him at all on any census's and no birth year or place for him.
It would very helpful if someone could find his details and any children from the marriage-perhaps looking at it from a different angle which I know you all do well.

FreeBMD has a George Dennis SN* birth, Dec qtr 1860, Eastbourne, 2b 54. Looking at the image the surname is SNATT
Fairly common name in Sussex according to the IGI. There is a submitted entry on the IGI for his birth, no date only 1860, but lists his parents as Thomas SNATT and Caroline DENNIS, who were married Mar qtr 1843, Eastbourne, 7 349.
