Sussex marriage lookup please
« on: Monday 04 May 09 17:56 UTC (UK) »

Hello

Could someone please lookup the two marriages of my William Howick between c1740 - c1760 in Sussex. William lived in Godalming, Surrey but i have not found any marriages for him in Surrey.

William Howick to Mary.
William Howick to Elizabeth.

The surname is sometimes spelt Hoick.

Thank you in advance.

Witness : Manny HARBROE; Jn.BRIDGER

Linch, West Sussex,  Date: 12 Feb 1740/1:

Extra Information: Bishops Transcripts (not in pr)(Challen BT gives parish as Linchmere)

Hello Chris in 1066

Thank you for doing this lookup for me.

The Elizabeth marriage is too late as my William & Elizabeth married before 1760.

The William & Mary marriage looks a very good match seeing as my William & Mary started having children in Godalming, Surrey at latest 1745.
