Glad I was on the right line.   Still can't find them in 1861 - I like a challenge but......

Hi,
I can only tell you what is on the certificate in the archives.
My own family I was looking for a lady and it turned out to be a man with a different name.
I will keep on looking when I go again.

Hi

Have you tried looking on the Yorkshire BDM site.  It has lots of marriages and births etc especially at St Peters in Leeds as half of my family were married there and it gives you the marriage certificate numbers etc which you can order?

regards

i have seen that site, but i can't order online, for it, and it is quiet expensive having cheque's made out in british pounds.

i'm also not a hundred percent that elizabeth ambler's parents are lawrence and dorothy. i was thinking they might have been because of the connection with the church. alternatively, her parents could be isaac and mary binn, as there are two elizabeth ambler's born in the same time and place.

Hi Kyle,
Been to archives today and I re-checked marriage.
It is as I said Richard is Davids Father on record.
No sign of other two yet.
