Wondered if there was anyone looking for the Hynds Family in Ayrshire. My Isabella Fisher married a Thomas Hynd and had 14 children. They married in 1849 and Thomas died about 1900 and Isabella died in 1914.
Surely there must be one of the 14 children's descendants out there looking. Hoping for a lead or extra information to share, Annie

Hi Trish, Yes, I have the children's names.
James, Peter, James, John, Christina, Thomas, Henry, Alexander, Jane, Isabella, Thomas, William, Christina, Catherine and Daisy who was adopted.
As you can see two Thomas and Christinas, so assume first one died.
No, I am not on Ancestry, but I can have a look if this is on there, but only interested if there is more information. Do you know if there is more information on there? Annie

Hello Annie,
Just in case you have not got this as you say the couple were married 1849. in your post.
Thomas Hynds, married Isibel Fisher, Mar/1847. New Monkland, Lanark.
several variations on the childrens births, ie Hynd, Hind.
Thomas, states on census he was born in Old Monkland, Lanark, and Isabella, states she was born in Monzie, Perthshire.

The tree is a personal one and seems to have been removed 
There is another mentin of John Hynd but they do not even have parents names, so not much help. I will have another check with other childrens names tomorrow and get back to you if anything of relevance is there.

Hello Annie,
You also state in your earlier post that Thomas Hynd, died about 1900. i think you will find that Thomas, actually died 1878. in Stevenston, Ayr. age 51 years.
His wife Isabella Hynd, is living in Stevenston, Ayr, in 1881. she is a Widow, aged 50 years. also in the house is son Henry, aged 23 years, and daughter Christina, aged 12 years.

Thanks for that Jonn, noted Thomas Hynds death. The Fisher family did come from Monzie, Perthshire, where I am stuck at this time with the Fisher family.

Hello Annie,
Peter Hynd, the oldest son of Thomas Hynd, and Isabella Fisher, married Christina Watson, on 04/March/1870. Ardrossan, Ayr.
They had a daughter Christina Fisher Hynd, who married a Dr. James Armstrong Harris. This Christina, died 30/03/1928. in London Temperance Hospital.
Peter Hynd, himself died 1904. in Troon, Ayr. aged 54 years.
His wife Christina Watson, died 03/03/1933. Toronto, Canada, aged 81 years.

Hi Jonn, I had Peter married to Christina Watson, but not all those details. So thank you for that bit.
Are these people in your tree? or was this a look up. I guess I am also looking for someone who might be looking for Isabella Fisher, I know it is a long shot but anything is worth a try and all the extras you pick up on the way are important too.
I have Isabella's information back to her parents and siblings in Gilmerton/Monzie, Perthshire.
