Hello,

You were kind enough to look up the births of Reuben Savage (1805) and his mother Sophia(1788). Sophia was the daughter of Margaret, is their a record of her birth - and hopefully a mother AND father, please? Cheesy

No father mentioned - if there had have been, I would have said! As you're probably aware, dates of birth were few and far between as far back as 1788, so just the baptism date given.

Apart from a couple way back in the 1500s, the earliest Savage baptism in G Marlow is Sophia's baptism on 2 Mar 1788 d/o Margaret. others are:

24 Mar 1791 Charlotte Savage baseborn d/o Margaret
27 Jun 1793 Elizabeth Savage baseborn d/o Rebecca
10 Apr 1796 Deborah Savage baseborn d/o Margaret
28 Dec 1800 Mary Savage baseborn d/o Margaret
then Reuben Savage baseborn s/o Sophia 30 Jun 1805.
15 Dec 1811 Thomas Savage baseborn s/o Charlotte.

According to the index, there are 4 more Savage baptisms after 1827 - if you want them?

Hello,

Thank you very much, again! Those Savage girls obviously didn't believe in marriage! I'll concentrate on Reuben and his family, I do have baptisms/marriages etc for them.
(Reuben was my ggg'father).
