Down Cathedral Graveyard There's a tombstone erected to the memory of Thomas Casement of Quoile who departed this life 16th May 1802 aged 51 years (Born 1751). His son William on the 20th May 1801 aged 19 (Born 1782) His wife Deborragh (Deborah?) on the 20th Apr 1832 aged 80 years (Born 1752). His grandson, Robert McKee, is also named. In fact there's a long list of Casement families in the Census who were resident in the Baronies of Upper and Lower Lecale on the night of 31st March 1901. They came from the following townlands ... Christopher - where did your Francis Casement hail from? Is he connected to the Comber Casements? Is he from a line with the name Francis and if so is Andrew also a family name?
