Aldershot Town Cemetry Redan Road Records

Hello I am trying to find out where records for Aldershot Town Cemetry Redan Road are post 1951.

Have been to Hampshire Records 0ffice today and they only have records to 1951. Is Redan Road still in use or closed down.

I am interested in locating records also a map of the cemetry so that I can find graves I have the references but without a map would not know where to start.

This is Rushmoor's website - has contact details for  the local cemeteries. It appears to be still being used but whether new graves are being created I don't know.

Thanks for your reply.  After searching internet last night managed to get hold of some telephone numbers. Have been in touch with the Cemetry today.

They were absoloutely brilliant and very very helpful. Spoke to two really lovely ladies there. Smiley
