Please could someone look up a marriage or christening for Edward Jewell possibly from Kingston Surrey born abt 1570. He had a son Thomas Jewell born c 1608 who went to America.

Edward Jewell married Johan Shearne  b 1575 in 1605
Thomas Jewell 1607 - 1654 married Grizel Fletcher 1618-1669 She died in Massachusetts

Hi Amanda

Kingston upon Thames parish registers are covered on the IGI 1541-1875 and for marriages 1543-1875.

The tree refered to gives Thomas' baptism in Kingston Cambridgeshire. Those parish registers are not covered by the IGI but Phillimore's Atlas states surviving registers begin for that parish in 1654 in which case I'm not sure how anyone has proved a baptism that early if that is the case.
