If you check the Baptism Index at http://www.cfhs.org.uk/Search.html and just put in Bow and Jane there are two Jane BOWLINGs baptised in Thorney in 1822 and 1824, daughters of William and Prudence. The older one died - see the burial index on the same site. They also baptised Prudence in 1832 who was registered as BOWLAND. And their son William BOWLING baptised in 1821 might be the William BOWLAND living in Thorney in 1841 (on the other hand he might not be as there's a burial of William Bowling at Thorney in 1821 age 11 days). If you just put Bowl and Thorney in the Index you'll get them all.
The baptism entry for the second Jane gives the abode as Eye, Northamptonshire. In 1841 living in Eye was Prudence Bowland 50; Jane 17; Mary 15; Ellen 13; Tamar 11; Prudence 10; Emma 6. All except Prudence senior born in Northants
In 1851 in Eye were William Bowland head marr 57 drover b Peterborough Northants; Prudence Bowland wife 60 b Helpringham, Lincs. The same in 1861 ages 63 and 70
In 1851 Jane Stokes 26 gave her birthplace as Eye, whereas in 1861 widowed, 36, she gave it as Thorney. Thorney and Eye are only three miles apart

This is the family. I noticed in the search there was an aserrick and the legend says more than normal information in the parish record. What does that mean? Would you know what a drover is?
I was wondering if someone might be able to direct me in how find the maiden name of the mother to Jane Bowland (Prudence) in this thread she married William. She is listed here in some census. I checked IGI with no luck.
A drover was someone who drove cattle and sheep to market.
The additional information is usually the occupation of the father
As Prudence was born in Helpringham Lincolnshire and William in Peterborough Northants, neither of which counties are well covered on the IGI, they are the counties I'd be concentrating on for the marriage. I'd try posting on the Northants Look up board for a look up in Northants Marriage Index, and then if no luck, a similar request on the Lincs board.
Helpringham baptisms, but not marriages, have been extracted onto the IGI, batch #C029152. There's only one Prudence that fits - Prudence PACEY baptised in Sept 1790. Pure speculation without the marriage though
Marriages in Helpringham have been filmed by the LDS so if all else fails you could order and view the microfilm from your nearest LDS Family History Centre.
