TRIPPIT (however spelled)
« on: Monday 21 February 05 14:09 UTC (UK) »

My Ggfather Samuel TRIPPIT was born (illegitimate)  in Hunslet in 1848 to Mary TRIPPIT.  He and wife Anne Elizabeth BROWNELL (Anne's mother's name Ann FREEMAN b Bawtry; Ann FREEMAN's mother's name Hannah TINKLER) were married in 1868 in Sheffield.  Samuel and Anne emigrated to NZ in 1876.  Samuel died in 1878 leaving Anne with 6 children and a 7th on the way.  Most of the children ended up in Australia though one may have settled in South Africa.

Anybody else searching for these people or names?

Judy
