1861 & 1871 census look up please

Hi,

Please could someone have a look for the following familly in 61 & 71:-

John Tonks born abt. 1822 in Shrops. occ. labourer
wife Elizabeth (Eliza)  born abt. 1824
children - William, Ann, Elizabeth, Noah, Marriah & Mary all born in Dawley or Stirchley, Shrops.

In 1851 they were living in Dawley.

But it leaves me wondering where the children are, unless the younger one's died, as Mary was only born in 1860, Mariah 1859, Noah 1852, Elizabeth 1850, Ann 1846 and William 1846.

In the Free BMD, there is a death in the fourth quarter of 1861 for a Mary Elizabeth Tonks in Madeley (volume 6a, page 378).

I think I found Noah and Eliza with their grandparents on the 1871 census in Dawley:

Edw Halford, head, 71, labourer, born Shrewsbury
Ann Halford, wife, 69, born Broseley 
Celina Halford, granddaughter, 20, general servant, born Hinckshay
Noah Tonks, grandson, 20, miner, born Stirchley 
Eliza Tonks, granddaughter, 22, general servant, born Lightmoor
(Piece: 2749; Folio: 33; Page: 25)

In the Free BMD, there is a death for a John Tonks registered in the first quarter of 1865 in Madeley (volume 6a, page 511) and for an Elizabeth Tonks in the first quarter of 1863 in Madeley (volume 6a, page 489) that are possibilities. There is also a Maria Tonks whose death was registered in the fourth quarter of 1863 in Madeley (volume 6a, page 409). I wondering whether that could be Mariah. Unfortunately it wasn't until a few years later that the index includes age at death.
