Help!!!!!!!!! Have just discovered a new addition to the mills family that has not been mentioned before..! On 1911 Census Parish Littleport Walter and Harriet Mills -Chatteris - have a son Walter born c 1907 this would be Grandmother Alice's Brother, (never been mentioned in family) only her sisters--
Beatrice,b 1894 Florence,b 1895 Blance.b 1914 Which I have all details on...birth Mariage and Deaths.. Mothers Maiden Name is Gowler..
Been looking for Birth cert marriage and death date for Walter but to no avail, as you have been so helpfull in the past with these troublesome Mills I am hoping you can help again in someway..Please.

I wondered if the Baldwin bit might make it easier for you but if you have never come across the name before, it just adds to the confusion. The only way you can be sure is the send for the certificate and that could turn out to be a waste of money.
It was the only birth around the right time, in Cambridgeshire on FreeBMD but that isn't conclusive. Hang on and I'll have a look at what An*****y comes up with.

Thankyou Gen gen, can't find any relations regarding the name Baldwin, seems like a surname don't you think? This Mills family is very elusive and causing me no end of problems not to mention wasted money on certs... already trying to find the where abouts of a Robert mills on a previous thread..
The only other possible births between the fourth quarter of 1906 and the first of 1908 are both boys who had Walter as a middle name.
Newmarket June 1907, 3b/457 Edward Walter Mills
St. Ives, Mar 1908, 3b/258 Gilbert Walter Mills
I hope this doesn't add to the confusion.

Can it get more confusing!!! I had considered the Edward Walter birth as the Mills do seem to drop their first or second names at times..! this is other half's family and they along with the missins who Grandma Alice Married into are a nightmare!! You think it would be simple as none of them ever seem to move from the area, even to this day there are one or two around in Littleport.! Thank you for your time and Helping Jen ..Much appreciated
