He bequstated in his Will to -:

(4) I owe Nickolas COLE 2s 2d.

Bond dated 16th September 1624 and the Will was very much decayed. Details from Francis Green, Fishgard ( solictors)
Copy of Will is found in the County Records Office at Haverfordwest.

Hi there: I am interested in anything related to Steynton, especially in the late 18th century through to the mid-1800s. My family (the Berrys) lived there and I would like to know more about the village and any related families - the Lloyds and Evans, for example. Regards, Tony B

Many thanks William.  No doubt a personal visit should produce much more than doing it online.  I'll let you.

Cheers,

Tony

Probably Oriel .. it vwas some years back when I first vebntured here and things have been in abeyance since.  But I am now back researching (and writing) with a vengeance.  Had a very interesting visit to Steynton, Haverfordwest and Milford and walked in the footsteps of my ancestors.  But no Hoplas, I'm afraid.
Cheers, Tony

Tony
You where on the wrong (north) side of the water for the Hopla Family. All the main and early ones are below the Cleddeau and on my computor.
If you where the original gentleman I spoke to I would have thought you just may have remembered my proper forename, but no problem good luck with your research.
