Wiffin Marriages - Halstead

Hi
Does anybody have access to the Phillimores or other marriage regs for Halstead.
I am trying to find the following information:

Saul Wiffin m Margaret unknown, poss c 1683 (their son John was born then)
Thomas Wiffin m Elizabeth unknown (parents of Saul above b c1660)
Richard Wiffin m Frances unknown c 1623-1628
Samuel Wiffin m Unknown c 1603 (son Richard b c1603).

I know these may not be on Phillimores due to incomplete parish coverage (I have Wilts, Bucks, Berks, Oxon, Hants and discovered this to my cost).

Any help greatly appreciated.

I don't think Halstead was included in Philimores unfortunately.

On the subject of the Halstead Wiffins, do yours include a Samuel Wiffin who married Grace Bigg in 1816 please?  Grace Bigg is a sideline on one of my trees and I've been having difficulties following her children forward.  The only two I've managed to trace are possibly Mary Ann Wiffin marrying a Nathaniel Harrington in 1838 (assuming its the correct Mary Ann) and Ellen Wiffin marrying William Clark in 1863.  Do you know what happened to any of their other children at all please?  If you don't want to post it on the forum, by all means PM me.

Any help appreciated.

Sorry can't really answer your question directly but some of the following may help.  My first Wiffen is Sarah Wiffen b 12 Jun 1823 chr 15 May 1827 Linton Cambs who married 11 Nov 1843 (not sure if Linton or Weston Coleville) a James Taylor b 6 Dec 1819 chr 12 Nov 1820 Weston Coleville.  She was the daughter of William Wiffin b 21 Aug 1784 chr 5 Sept 1784 Linton.  The family were basically in Linton most of the time and then moved across the border to Halstead with John Wiffen 1683. 

William Wiffin was the son of Samuel Wiffen chr 14 Jul 1754 Linton, d 1828 Linton.  He married Ann Grain 23 Sept 1773 Linton.  They had:
John chr 26 Oct 1777
Anne chr 10 Mar 1780
Samuel chr 28 Apr 1782
William as above.

Do you think your Samuel could link into this family? (Linton/Halstead about 22 miles apart)

Like an idiot I didn't record my sources but I know I used a Wiffen/Wiffin website plus Hugh Wallis parish records at the IGI.  Might have used rootsweb as well.
