COOK[E]/ADAMS Marriage 1807
« on: Monday 11 May 09 11:59 UTC (UK) »

Hi Everyone

I am trying to establish the parents of Isaac Cook b abt 1783 in Midsomer Norton and Maria Adams b about 1780, not sure where in Somerset as she died before the 1851 census but it is probably Midsomer Norton.

They married on the 06 JAN 1807 at Midsomer Norton and I wondered if anyone could check their marriage for any info.

Thank you

Wendy Smiley

Hi there

The marriage transcribed on freereg shows no additional information I am afraid. I did find Issac's burial in the National Burial Index, Midsomer Norton St John the Baptist, 24 Jun 1861, aged 79. Maria also buried Midsomer Norton 6 Apr 1850 aged 69.

Good luck with your search

Hi Shirl

Brilliant. Thank you very much for that info.

I found the deaths in Free BMD but to have the actual burial date is great. I'll have to try another way to find the parents.
