I am trying to establish the birth of a John Bridger c. 1714 in Rotherfield, Sussex.

Can anybody help?

Rotherfield records should be on the IGI at that time.  Have you looked on www.familysearch.org?

John Bridger baptised 4 Jul 1714, Rotherfield, parents Robert & Anne Bridger.

Robert Bridger married Ann Miles in Rotherfield 28 Sep 1701.

Thank you both for your help. Thi shas taken me in an entirely different direction. I never thought about looking in Sussex as all of my research thus far has been in Kent!

Bridger is a VERY common name in Sussex - good luck!
