Victor Hungerford, Sydney Hungerford, John Hungerford and Ryder Hungerford are on two GR trees.
However, neither tree appears to have all the children listed.
Is it worth trying for a contact?

I've had a message from the Hungerford link on GR .... George William Hungerford was her husband's uncle, and the brother of his father Victor Frederick Hungerford. They knew he was killed in action 28/07/1916 but that his body was never recovered.
Evidently they researched some years ago and understood that his "Dog Tag" was handed in by a German soldier, and that his name is commemorated in the V.C Corner-Australian Cemetery-France.
I hope the family have contacted the Fromelles group via the link on the web-page.

They seem to be mostly Queensland ones.....records online for Queensland are not the easiest......

Dee, I am going to start a new thread, but if you or anyone else requires lookups for Qld Fromelles lads, I hope to get to the Qld State Archvies this week.
I would really appreciate it if the lookup requests can be as specific and concise as possible.
