Collins, Savage, Talbot, Ballyshannon/Suncroft

I am related in some way to Margaret Collins - b. abt 1914 - 23/11/1992 (I think her maiden name was Talbot).  I think that she might have been christened Catherine.  She was married to Gerald Collins who died on 20/12/1947 in a car accident in the Curragh. They are both interred in the small cemetery on the Athy road just south of Old Kilcullen.  I am trying to determine if Margaret was in fact a Talbot. Also Margaret (Babs) Savage who married Adam Talbot in Suncroft

You should be able to search for their names in Index to Civil Registrations then cross-match the results to see if Gerald's wife was Talbot. Suggest getting results for Gerald Collins first and then narrowing down possible brides using the same details you've found for any Geralds.

Thanks for that AG, I have tried but couldn't find a match.  I am hoping that maybe there was a slight change in the recording of the names either on the birth or the marriage records and that my posting might jog someone's memories.
