Colleen Bawn Beauty Competition

Would anyone know of the above competition which might have taken place (possibly in Naas or Kilcullen 1916-1997) during the 1900's.  There is a family rumour that one of my ancestors - Margaret Savage - won the competition.

I was speaking with my elderly uncle recently and he was adamant that the information regarding this competition is true.  Does anyone have any info on this competition or possibly a competition with a similiar name?
