Hi
Could someone please do a lookup for Horace Frederick Ninham Bowles bn 1894 Gorleston, Norfolk, Uk? He is coming up on the incoming passenger lists on Ancestry, but I havent got access to that part!
As far as I knew, he was always in UK, so wonder what/where this refers to.

He seems to be travelling with his wife, stated as married, Margaret V Bowles, born 20th March 1892, Housewife travelling class one, so I presume 1st class maybe. They are returning to 45, Donkin Terrace, North Shields.
It says that they are citizens of England on their passport and their permanent residence is England with the intention to stay in England.

Wow - thanks Evie. Thats definately him (and her) - my g-grandparents. Their son emigrated to Canada, so I wonder if they went over with him, or to visit him? Is there any way to find out?

What was their son called? Have you found him on an outgoing passenger list? Unfortunately I do not have world wide subs so I wouldn't be able to look at it for you but someone else might.
Maybe they were just visiting him, my great aunt did that when her son emigrated to Australia. If he emigrared around the same time then it is possible they went with him but if not I would think they were just visiting.

The son is Kenneth Bowles bn 1927, North Shields, UK. I guess he could have emigrated around that time so they could have been visiting. Its funny that I never drempt they would have gone all that way for a visit!
