Is this anywhere near Newcastle?  I have an Elizabeth Pass born Newcastle c 1815 married Samuel Packett and they lived in Burslem where all their children were born.

Shenston is about 40 miles from Newcastle-under-Lyme:  Stonnal is about 35 miles from N-U-L.

I live in Stonnall (that's how we spell it) and would be happy to help if you could give me any more details- I have a bright, 85 year old neighbour who has lived around here all her life.
