Marriage Lookup - William Lamb and Sarah ? 1769-1772

Dear Rootschat,

Could I please have a lookup for the above marriage? William Lamb's first child was christened at Laneham in 1772. He later moved to Clayworth. He was a miller.

Hi Sue

Laneham marriages are covered on the Notts FHS CD 1566 - 1900, but they don't appear to have married there. This is the nearest I could find.

William Lamb m Sarah Taylor 31 March 1783 at North Clifton

Dear Carol,

Thank you very much for looking up William's marriage. It is useful to know that he was not married at Laneham. The marriage at North Clifton could well be his, although he already had seven children by then so must have waited a while! Maybe he married in a different parish so they wouldn't know! Smiley
