Hi

I'd be grateful for any information on the marriage of James Heavens and Betty Greenaway in Hannington, Wiltshire on 4/8/1788.

In particular I'd like to find out more about James, his parents, date of birth etc.

All the other Heavens I'm aware of were living in Berkshire around this time, and I cant tag James to any of them.

Hi jon Smiley,

If you search the IGI with just surname Heavens and put in Wiltshire you will see there are quite a few Heavens born in Wilshire going way back.
There is no obvious baptism for James though Roll Eyes

Perhaps some records are mis-spelt as Havens.  There were some of that name in Eastington, Gloucs
