I know just about all there is to know about the literature on and by NJ Halpin. But I'd like to know if the locals have an opinion of the Reverend, or anything by way of reliable information that might not exist in the archives.  Please post your replies to the Wicklow mssg board, where I've begun something of a discussion about the links that may exist between a number of prominent Halpin families.
