The further into the last century the harder it is to find people...but just having the parents listed may still find your family...We have no access to BMDs after a certain amount of time...privacy laws are tighter her...
I see one cemetery listing for a John James Dance but it's in B.C. ( opposite coast) but no Celia, so likely not yours...

Same name don't know yet if same person
There's another marriage of John James Dance in 1935 to Edith Wenman, they had Barbara born 1942.
It's not my family, doing it for a friend.
If they want to persue further they will need marriage certs and/or death of Celia Dance between 1928-1935 which I couldn't find in Free BMD's
