Spittal family

This is a post on behalf of former 'contributor' tommagregor who describes himself as "an Auld Fifer from Down-Under" that may be of some use to researchers.  He has obtained a Death Cert that gave him quite a lot of useful information about the Spittal's on his Family Tree:

"William Spittal, a Blacksmith, widower of (a) Euphemia Wallace and (b) Elizabeth McAdam. He died at 32 Viceroy Street, Kirkcaldy aged 84 years. Father: Thomas Spittal, a weaver (deceased) and Mary Spittal M.S. Dowie (deceased). Cause of death: Cerebral Embolism. Informant: James Speed, an intimate friend.
 
I knew that Euphemia Wallace had died 15th July, 1886, aged 54, his son, Thomas Spittal had died 1st November, 1899, aged 32. Elizabeth McAdam died 4th 1821? aged 40. Daughter: Janet Spittal died in 1918.

Family surnames being researched ...
Crawford, Neilson, Lindsay, Reekie, Davidson
Drummond, Pearson, Laing ... will do for starters but there's a whole lot more!

   Above William SPITTALl died 21.6.1912 age 92?
   Daughter Jane SPITTAL died 1918
