 Smiley Hi Everyone. Just found out my Grandad William Norvell Blackbird and his family were living at 10 Wellfield Terrace, Bill Quay when the 1911 Census was taken. Does anyone know if the address still exists? Thanks.

If you go to http://gis.durham.gov.uk/website/interMAP/viewer.htm and enter the post code NE100SS in search it will centre the map on 11/12 Wellfield Terrace. You can see the earlier maps as well.

The postcode finder at the Royal Mail site gives an accurate Postcode and map:

www.royalmail.com

It still exists with a Gateshead postal address.

It gives the same post code that I gave, and the map shows the individual houses  Smiley
