My great grandmother came out to NZ in 1872 on the Bebington, does anyone know where I can find a photo or painting of this ship on-line,

Have you looked at the online passenger lists, websites ?
The "Denise and Peter - Our Stuff" site offers photos (for a number of vessels) via email ... so check that one.
Also, try "Yesteryears" site who provide links to some photos of ships.

Many thanks - I have just looked at those sites you mention and there is no picture of the Bebington, she does sound like a ghastly slow, creaky old tub.

[I notice the "Bebington" isn't one of the vessels whose names are underscored, indicating a photo is available. So maybe there isn't one ?]

Thanks to you both, I did look at a lot of sites for a photo but gather there isn't one.
I will go through the over many listings of it on the Papers Past site - I just wanted a photo if it exists to add to the history page in my album,
