William is eluding me for quite a while now, as he was born in st vincent west indies as a british subject. have been on various sites without sucess will have to keep trying.

There are 3 other children baptised to John & Lucy at Bingham
John Footitt 6.6.1805
Mary Footitt 6.6.1805
Jane Footitt 28.4.1813 - occupation given as Horsebreaker
John Footitt is still around in the 1841 census, but no sign of Lucy
Long Acre, Bingham
John Footitt aged 55 Horsebreaker - not born in county

thanks for your info, at least a insight to ann's family.
william, i'm sure doesn't want to be found lol.... pre 1837 i don't know how to obtain a marriage cert if you can for 1836 when they got wed, at least it maybe give a fathers name, but i don't know the parish.

There are no certificate before 1837. You would have to check the original entry in Bingham PR's for the marriage 1836.

The Bingham PR's are kept at the Nottingham Records Office.

or you can rent them out at your local LDS library. I think the price is about £2.75 for 1 month or £3.75 for 3 months.
You might be better to put on another request for a marriage lookup at the RO in case someone may be visiting in the near future and can do it for you.
