Hi Chris thought I would get in quickly and take up your offer of looking in your MIs for Lewes.
Could you look and see if there are any Webbs, they were living in the area at some point and it would be good to see if any are buried there.

Just done a sweep of the MI's for you with the following result:

All Saints - Nill
Jireh Chapel - Nill
Meeting Hse - Nill
South Malling - Nill
St Annes - Nill
Southover - 1 - No 210 - can read name WEBB, but rest is eligible
St John Sub Cast - 1 - No 723

  the 21st 1786/ aged .../ Also of Ann Webb/ their daughter/ who died/ August
  11 1772/ aged 69 years/ Also of Sarah Wilson/ their daughter who died/ May 8 1786 aged ../ Also to the memory of John Wilson who died March 11th 1778/ aged 77 years/
