Hi,
Thank you to those who provided me with census information for Charles BIDDLE and his parents. Before I go to the expense of joining Ancestry or Findmypast can anyone help me with the surname of Charles' mother. I did find reference to a family tree for these people on Ancestry ,located by google, but cannot get access to it.

The information I have from the census':
William BIDDLE (b.1818, Windsor, Berkshire) married Jane?? (b.1821 Whitbourne, Herefordshire)
Theri first child was William, born 1841 . In 1851 they lived at Badleywood Common Whitbourne.

From FreeBDM I found three potenital marriage matches (ie names that fit that were married in the same period at the same place, but there were other names as well)
Dec 1837 William BIDDLE; Jane FARMER at Hinckley
Jun 1841 William BIDDLE; Jane MORGAN at Hay
Jun 1841 William BIDDLE; Jane ROSE at Marylebone

I do not know England's geography so cannot work out which are closest to their birth places.

Can anyone shed any light on Jane's surname or where to next with this search?  Huh

Hay is the one for Herefordshire

Hinckley is Leicestershire and Marylebone is London
