Mary Leighton Death Record

Hi

I am trying to find the death of a Mary Leighton in Durham.
I am wanting to determine if one of 2 death records I have found could be my Mary Leighton without having to order death certificates. 

The first is a death in 1858 in Sunderland Q4
The second is in 1860 in Stockton Q4

Other info I have is she was born around 1823. 
I have found on IGI some Durham parish registers available online, but there are no records for the dates I require.  I noticed on some of the parish records it has age at death and I thought I could narrow down which Mary was mine if there was parish records with her age at death. 
Does anyone know if there would be parish registers for these dates that someone could look up if they have them or would I need to order death certs.

The obvious question is do you have her on the 1851 census and where does it say she was born.

That would give a big clue to area to look at for her birth.

there are records available on Durham records online:

you can buy credits. i have had a quick look and there are some likely ones but you will have to check against what you know re parents / birthplace etc.

I have found this burial,

Mary LEIGHTON   
Date of burial: 5 Mar 1860 
Age at death: 55
Place of burial: Stockton, Durham 
Dedication: Holy Trinity

which seems to fit this death ref;

Mary LEIGHTON    Mar Q    1860    Stockton    10a  39

so too old to be 'your' Mary.

Thanks for that info Daisy I don't think this one is my Mary but at least it narrows it down a little for me.  Will keep searching.
