As far as William's death certificate, I get the impression from California's website that anyone can get an informational copy.  http://www.cdph.ca.gov/certlic/birthdeathmar/Pages/AthorizedCopyvsInformationalCopy.aspx

I don't see any marriage for daughter Joy, but Ancestry only has records beginnining in 1960, so she may well have married before then.  If anyone finds anything, keep in mind that her husband may still be living, so the information may need to be sent by private message.

Have ordered two deaths certs, Williams and his Daughters. Will let you know outcome if anything of interest but delivery is quite a few weeks so please do not hold your breath!!
