cook`s from Northleigh

Hi I was wondering if anyone can help me I am looking for the parents of David Cook 1821,who was married to Lydia Long.
Apparently he is from Northleigh ,Oxfordshire 1851 census shows him as a grocer 1861 as a carpenter. I am totally confused, any information on his parents ,siblings or himself would be greatly appreciated.

From the OFHS's transcript of the North Leigh parish registers:

08 NOV 1818 - Charlotte COOK
25 MAR 1821 - David COOK
18 MAY 1823 - Eleonora COOK
23 APR 1825 - Alfred COOK
04 MAY 1828 - George COOK*
20 MAR 1831 - Frederick COOK
11 OCT 1835 - Mary COOK (second forename recorded, but illegible)

All s./d. of James and Mary, Lab.

*  Off. Min. H.B. WILSON, Fellow of St. John's, Oxford

There were no COOK(E) burials after 1762 (register ends at 1950).

No sign of James and Mary's marriage at North Leigh, but a search of the OFHS's Oxfordshire Marriage Index (1538-1837) has one possible marriage:

30 APR 1817 - James COOK (of Coggs) to Mary TYRREL at Witney

(This is the only James COOK marrying a Mary during the period 1810-1837, and Coggs/Witney are very close to North Leigh.)
