Has anyone any information on Donald McDonald "captain of a vessel", according to his daughter's death certificate. Daughter Catherine Amelia McDonald was born circa 1831 in Demerara, British Guiana, and in 1852 married John Kane in Duntocher. Have not been able to find anything on Donald nor his wife Mary Williamson as far as death certificates etc concerned. Appreciate any help or information.
