Hi all ... Just checking if anyone recognises these names before I plough into the depths of late night research sessions  Cheesy

George Vinton, b. Gateshead district, Q3 1889.
Mary Jane Peel, b. Houghton (le Spring) district, Q2 1890.

... and the marriage of the above couple in Gateshead district, Q3 1909.

Any nods in the right direction?

Hi Trish - yes, that would be most welcome. It may enable me to distinguish between George Vinton and George Pearson Vinton, born at almost the same time in the same place. I'm fairly sure that plain George is the one I want, but you never know.  Cheesy

Before I post any more do you want the George Pearson VINTON as your family member or not?

On same page Elizabeth PEARSON Smiley

The Samuel I have above in 1891 was married to a Lizzie, eldest child 19 and youngest George 3. this fits with a marriage abt. 1870.

Have you checked out his age on 1911 Census?
Childrens names might give it away?
Was there a special on George Vinton marriages at the reg office 1909/1910 Smiley Smiley?
