annan old burial ground which is not far from howes  number 252 in memory of francis kerr farmer in howes who died 4th january 1778 aged 71 years and henrietta johnstone his spouse who died 8th may 1745 aged 45 years also james ker their son who died 22nd july 1818 aged 80 years and  margaret pool his spouse who died 4th february 1823 aged 86years and richard ker son of william ker who died 24th may 1828 aged 2 years and one monthand tha above william ker who died at howes 4th april 1861 aged 87 years also agnes holliday his wife who died at annan 4th january 1869 aged 79 years  csc
