I have been told that my Grandmother Elizabeth Little (Shields) who was born in 1912 in the area had a daughter between 1930 and 1940 called Lorna - it would appear she may have lived at home for a few years after birth and then either given up for adoption or went to stay with relatives - unknown - any ideas? Done a search on births but cant find anything?
