I'm not sure about that place of birth for Robert senior. looks like Mukleton but not certain.

You're not old enough to remember him but it was the name which attracted me - I was very fond of Jonny Kidd and the Pirates in the 1950/60s! Grin Grin Grin

I dont know if there is a Mukelston but the next village to Eggleston is Mickleton. I went to see Johnny Kidd and the pirates at the Spennymoor Rink in the 60s

Well it is a fair hike from Eggleston to Mickleton.

But did Johnathan have a brother called John. born Egglestone 1858.
