Hi There....

Can anyone help me find the parents of Thomas Markham please ?

According to the 1841 census, he was 45 years old.

I have found the baptism of a Thomas, which took place  1794 at Bow Brickhill, father Lawrence, but do not want to assume that this is my man........

I cant help with the baptism  ( hopefully someone else might Smiley)but there is a submitted entry for Thomas on IGI ( perhaps you have already found this Embarrassed)

Thomas MARKHAM, born 1796, Woolstone,  Buckinghampshire

Married, Susannah CORY, 14 August 1814, Milton Keys, Buckingham

Children, Thomas 1816, James 1827

Yes, that my Thomas and Susannah definitely. I am almost certain, that Lawrence is Thomas' father.

I think that my next move, is to get Lawrence's death certificate. He died in 1847.
What made me wonder was finding the Baptism's in Bow Brickhill,when I knew that there was a well established church, Holy Trinity, at Woolstone. Perhaps it was the mother's parish ?

Thank You so much for your time, I find it really helpful, to "run" things past somebody else.

  Went to check today but ,Milton Keynes library only has Great & Little Woolstone records from 1837 onwards. The others can be found in Aylesbury.
