trying to find out parents of stephen patrick fardy born 24 march 1912 in wexford ireland , died 2001 on ilse of wight .

Index to Irish civil registrations is now online (free) and  his birth is listed:
Stephen FARDY Apr/June 1912 Wexford registration district volume 4 page 644.

With the above details you can order the birth certificate which will list exact date and place of birth as well as names of parents (unless illegitimate in which case father will not be listed).

I am friends with one of the Fardy descendents, and we have compiled some of the family history of his Fardy line.  Will have a chat tomorrow with him, if ok will send info.

I have just found out that you are Ian's relative, so you have done an awful lot on the Fardy's Line.  As I did not keep anything on disc, having to go over what I had found.
