Kingston Infirmary
« on: Friday 22 May 09 22:45 UTC (UK) »

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for some information regarding Kingston Infirmary.

I have a birth certificate with 'place of birth' as 50 Kingston Hill, Kingston. Am I right to believe that this was the infirmary?
Also, I'd like to find out what happened to a relative that was born there in 1912. I know she didn't live with her mother as she was unmarried and had given away 2 other children to relatives. However, I can't find any trace of the child, Kathleen Louise Parker, who was born on the 25th August 1912. Are there any records of this time and place that would give me a lead?

Many thanks in advance.

Hi

The last online census is 1911.  There are no other records available for that period that would tell you who she went to live with etc

Hi,

Thanks for the reply - this is something I'm still working on.

Are there any records of the Kingston Workhouse from this period? I'd love to find out what happened to Kathleen, as I've found her brother Charles. Any leads would be appreciated!
