Cooke Burial in Belfast City Cemetery 1897- COMPLETED
« on: Saturday 23 May 09 15:32 BST (UK) »

Appreciate any help in finding further details of the burial of Ann Jane Cooke nee McCormick of 163 Crumlin Rd , wife of Thpmpson Cooke. She died May 2nd 1897 and was intered in Belfast City Cemetery on May 4th 1897. How can I find where she is buried and are there any other burials in that plot. I believe Thompson Cooke died in 1900.

You should contact Belfast City Council Cemeteries and Crematorium Office on 028 9027 0296 or Belfast City Cemetery site office on 028 9032 3112.

BTW have you purchased the burial details from the Ancestry Ireland website?
http://www.ancestryireland.com/database.php?filename=db_QUIS

For £4 you can see the details of a burial in the City Cemetery and this may give additional information which could assist the cemetery office to find the grave for you.

Thanks for your help. The cemetery staff were very helpful, letting me see the records and pointing out the plot for me. Found out Thompson Cooke died almost 4 years to the day after his wife.
