Info on Holy Trinity parish records
« on: Saturday 23 May 09 15:32 UTC (UK) »

Hi
I have looked at the Cambridge Baptism records for 1801-1837 on the Cambridge family history site. In the last column it shows the following symbol * and indicates that there is more than normal info contained in the Parish Record. I have purchased the transcribed discs for these records but it does not show any more info than on the Cambridge Baptism records for 1801-1837. Would I have to look at the original records to find out what these extra details are, and if so where would these records be held.
Thank You Ericx

The additional information is usually just the occupation of the father

Hi David
Thank you for the reply - do you know where I could see the original records?

The Bishops Transcript is available on microfilm at your nearest LDS family History Centre. Cambridge Record Office holds the original parish register.

I'm surprised that this extra detail isn't included on the transcript, as these usually contain all details in the PR

Hi David
Problem solved - my oversight - found info on said discs. Apologies tendered.
