The Lynn Family - Ballynacargy
« on: Saturday 14 July 07 22:41 UTC (UK) »

Does anyone know anything about the Lynn family who I believe lived in the Churchtown area. Children included:- Agnes,Eileen, Ettie, John, Pattie and Mary who was a housekeeper for the priest in the Church. As far as I know they lived in the house next door to the Church. This would be about 1920 onwards. any contributions gratefully received.

Guillermo means william in spanish , many westmeath people left during the famine ,I  believe my grandfather returned from Argentina

Guillermo. He travelled to North Americia on about 1910 to join a brother with a Alice . My dad mentioned that

I am looking for information on Patrick Lynn whose daughter Mary b. abt 1867, married Bernard Moughty on 24 Aug 1887 in the RC Chapel of Emper.

Any information would be appreciated.  I plan to be in Ireland researching this family the end of June.

BTW, many of the Moughty's also emigrated to Argentina.

Regards,
Donna
