Martha Pool nee Kemp

I am looking for information on my Great Grand Aunt Martha Kemp.

Martha was born the 23 August 1867 Clifton Yorkshire England.

She married a John Dobb Pool born about 1867 Beverly Yorkshire England. It is unknown when they married and if they had a children. It is also possible that she remarried as another cousin has her down as Martha Steir McGuire.

She emigrated to Canada along with her sister Bessie but we do not know when.

Any information would be very much appreciated.

This where it gets interesting. I have a photo that Says Great Aunt Martha with her Sister Bessie in Canada.

However Bessie must be short for something.

The sisters I have for Martha are as follow:-

Elizabeth born 1859 Stockton Yorkshire married John Groves 31 Mar 1883 York England

Dinah born 1861 Stockton Yorkshire married John Bowker 1885 had children

Nancy born 1864 Stockton Yorkshire.

May be coincidence, but
Dina Bowker arriving 1865-1935, Quebec (cannot view record)

Dinah Bowker, UK Incoming Passenger Lists, 1878-1960, arriving Southampton

Could Dinah have visited Martha, or just a coincidence with the names.

Using exact matches options, its possible Dinah was born in 1861 and travelled back to the UK in 1921.

HMMM I wonder now thats got me thinking.

I think Dinah must have just been visiting cause all of her 8 Children up to 1900 were all born in Yorkshire in England.

It could be possible that she went after this date.

There's a chance Alec travelled to Canada and returned to the UK. He possibly travelled around 1921. I cannot view additional information. Hopefully, someone will be able to help.

Martha was widowed by 1924, when she remarried. I wonder if Dinah and Alec visited in 1921? Perhaps Martha's husband died that year? I wonder if any other family members came over (providing Dinah and Alec did actually visit, of course).

I think I have managed to find Martha on the Ontario Cemetery Finding Aid

there is a Martha McGuire Cemetery Mt Pleasant (Potter's Field) County York Township Toronto Reference is YK

If this is her what do I do with it and how do I find out date of death etc.
