how can i find a grave??

Hi
How can i find out where my where my great grandparents are buried???
They came from and lived in and around West Ham essex
surname WEATHERALL

Families of the deceased usually put death notices in the local newspapers and these should tell where the burial or cremation took place.Death notices started appearing in newspapers in the late 19c.You could check local record offices to find what old newspapers they hold,probably on microfiche.

I don't know if this will help at all ... but have you tried Findagrave.com??  I know it requires someone else to have entered the burial information but here in the US many folks go to cemeteries and take photos and write down the information on the stones and then post them on Findagrave.com for that cemetery.  I have done this as a volunteer for Findagrave.com and have listed many stones that are not my relation.  It might be worth a look anyway.
